The head of the Health and Safety Executive (HSE) has today warned that more needs to be done to prevent accidents in the workplace.
According to Judith Hackett, chairman of the HSE, more than 200 people lose their lives in workplace accidents every year, and around 100,000 are injured.
Ms Hackett commented: "One injury is one too many – we really do want to drive those numbers down.
