Plumber from Lincolnshire builds world's longest motorbike

Colin Furze, a plumber from Lincolnshire, has entered the record books after building the world's longest motorbike.

Measuring a gigantic 46ft, the motorbike was constructed using two 50cc Honda Sky mopeds and pieces of aluminium and can travel up to 30 miles per hour.

The motorbike measures 14.03 metres and dwarves the previous record of 9.6 metres.

A band of plumbers from company Pimilico Plumbers has won BBC One's TV talent show Tonight's the Night.

The band, known as 'Never Mind the Ballcocks', will now have their CD sold in Plumb Centres and Part Centres across the UK. The band consists of heating engineer Stuart Dunne (lead vocals and guitar), Martin Botley (lead guitar), heating engineer Robbie Glanfield (bass guitar and backup vocals) and Billy Kikidis (drums).

A 30 year old female plumber from Somerset has been named as this year's apprentice...in Abu Dhabi.

Hannah Dodkin, 30, from Polsham in the West Country, was working for a small property development firm in London before deciding last year to enter Hydra Executives, an Abu Dhabi-based version of the global hit TV show.

A plumber from West Lothian, Scotland, who was slammed by Simon Cowell in the final of Britain's Got Talent has vowed to fight on and make his dream come true.
