A plumber from West Lothian, Scotland, who was slammed by Simon Cowell in the final of Britain's Got Talent has vowed to fight on and make his dream come true.
Andrew Muir, 24, who sang a tuneless version of John Lennon's Imagine, was ripped into by the judge on Saturday night, who claimed he was "out of his depth" and had "made the worse decision of his life" by choosing that particular song.
Muir, today was being defiant saying that "I probably wouldn't have won anyway – the talent was outstanding.
"But I don't agree with Simon when he said I was 'out of my depth', and I'm determined to prove the judges wrong. I'll get my chance to prove myself on the tour.
"My semi-final performance was the real me. The final just didn't go well."
