Electricians who were involved in the building of the Dounreay nuclear power plant over 40 years ago have invited back to help with its demolition.

The group of electricians, officially known as the Dounreay Site Restoration Limited (DSRL), have been nicknamed the "old timers" and have removed up to 15 miles of cable from the site.

Housebuilders in the UK are beginning to claw back their investible status' according to hedge fund firm Toscafund. The news comes as the housing market gradually edges towards growth in 2011 and beyond, rejuvenating share prices, asset values and eventually, profitability.

"We feel we're going to make a lot of money out of housebuilders as they're undervalued," said Martin Hughes, founder of hedge fund firm Toscafund.
