More avid bloggers will remember the FMB's campaign for Builders' Breakfast Crisps in Walkers' "Do me a flavour" competition. In a quirk of fate, I found myself confronted by my nemesis of the potato snack world and, in the spirit of democracy, I put my grievances to one side and gave them a try.

First, it's a hit of smokey bacon, followed by a soupcon of ketchup - so far so good. Then, as those tastes subside, from nowhere, ergghh, what is that? No. It isn't. It is. It's egg. But we're not talking about a regular eggy taste here - it's more like someone's eaten an omelette and then burped in your face.
