If like me, you’ve ever watched ‘The Jetsons’ and thought Hanna-Barbera were visionaries of the home of the future, you’re not alone. According to a new survey from IKEA, the kitchen of the future will clean itself, grow our food and give us diet advice.

Robert Van Winkle, better known as early nineties rapper Vanilla Ice, has landed his own show on the US DIY Network, innovatively titled “The Vanilla Ice Project”. The 10 episode reality show will follow Ice-Winkle renovating his 7000 sq. ft. Palm Beach home. In other news, MC Hammer is soon expected to announce a new cookery program.

David Hertz and his client, Francie Rehwald, are taking on the daunting task of transforming a Boeing 747 into a house. Not only is it being made into a "curved, feminine-shaped home" but it is incredibly environmentally friendly. The project started about three years ago and is six months from completion; it is reuse and repurposing at its finest.
