Gardens can be fun but they can also be a lot of hard work, but one the other hand they can be enjoyable and once you have achieved your garden then the best part is just relaxing with a few friends over a nice glass of wine.
The best way to achieve your dream garden is to look at your friends gardens and also magazines. Have you the same size as theirs? Would you like the same design or outlook, or would you prefer something entirely different.
The main area of any garden is the outlook from the kitchen window, but it’s also a good idea to look from the bedroom window to give you the overall look at the garden from a birds eye view.
It’s not very wise to have an entirely grassed garden as sometimes people do. If you like to chill out in the evenings then there's nothing better to have your table and chairs on a good firm patio from Indian stone or some decking which comes in hardwood and softwood.
A good tip is if you are thinking about having a deck or natural stone is to make sure you have enough room for the table and chairs. Measure the size of your area with the chairs pulled away from the table.
If you have a large garden then there's a number of possibilities for decking and grass, or stone patio and grass, plus planting boarders around the perimeter of the garden.
If you have a small garden, then you can have planting holes, planting pots, trellis with climbers.
Fencing: There are a number of fencing panels on the market including screening for that private look from either willow, brushwood and also bamboo plus your normal fence panels.
If you have blank canvas then the possibilities are endless. Make sure that the fence you want replacing is yours and not your neighbours, if in doubt check with your deeds or ask your neighbour.
